Wow! Simply fantastic drawing! You draw the most beautiful eyes and faces and that gentle smile hints at her amusement at the traffic she's stopping and the hordes of people staring at her, open-mouthed. I love the way you hint at her muscularity and the way you've rendered her *ahem* trademark curves. Really great pic, man. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Thanks again, Jack-x. For the faces and eyes, my trick is to flip the image while I'm working on it. I'll either look at the back of the drawing while holding up to the light or check it in a small mirror I keep by my drawing board. That really helps me spot problem areas or check to see if the expression is coming across like I want it appear. If I'm not seeing what I want in the reverse image, I make some adjustments and check it again. Anyhow, thanks again for a really nice comment.
Using a mirror is a really interesting technique. I'll have to try it myself when I next pick up the courage to exercise my extremely limited drawing skills. Thanks again!
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
