Tubes & Tags--I have joined the company Up Your Art [link] which is a company that licenses digital images for use in signatures and tags. Their terms of use allow you to color black and white images so if you like to color and create signatures or tags, there might be some images that you would enjoy using. I also have some images created for the tubes in full color.


Commissions-- If you'd like to be notified when the next set-priced commissions are available for purchase, just let me know by sending a note. The prices for those ones are $55 for a digital copy or $70 + shipping for the original artwork.

If you've purchased artwork from me before, you can reserve commission spots in advance if you would like. For that option, it is an extra $5 per commission. In that case, I'll check in with you before the next round starts to see if you'd like to go ahead with it.

For colorists-- (UPDATED 11/7/08) Since I have started selling tubes through Up Your Art, I can only allow colored versions of my deviations listed under the fan art category from this point. This does not affect colored versions which have already been posted on DeviantArt. The basic guidelines for coloring my work are as follows:

1. The original image in my gallery must be listed under the the fan art category in order to use it.
2. Credit me with the lines (as rplatt or Russ Platt).
3. Do not submit your version as a print when posting on DeviantArt.
4. Be respectful of the original image meaning that no notable changes to the appearance of the image or background are allowed (aside from the addition of colors to the image).
5. If the original art is from a commission featuring someone's personal creation, please mention that the character belongs to them in your comments.

If you have a question about something, you can reach me by sending a note. Please follow these guidelines for any future color works. I really enjoy seeing the different colored versions so I would like to continue to offer this permission.

Character suggestions-- I don't do requests for characters. If you would really like to see a specific character, you would probably have to secure a commission. I do consider suggestions for general themes like pirates, vampires, or nurses so if you have an idea along those lines, I would enjoy hearing it.
